you dont see many of them, another ground breaking truck that never took off looking at this ad it looks as though it was 78 they came out

did anyone ever have the pleasure (or misfortune) of riding a set of these? ive often wondered what they would have been like

nice lan,think the orig owner must have like doing nose wheelies with that truck position

theyre a new one to me, ive never heard of pfander at all

i saw them myself and thought ive never seen any with two logos either

yes those lotus ones are near identical in every way,in the tracker book it does say how they spent a fortune trying to shut down all these companies who produced knock offs but in the end decided it wasnt worth the costs involved and the money was better off being spent on producing their own ...

im suprised gullwing never filed a lawsuit as they are 95% gullwing copies although i shouldnt think they knew of them either

i remember you posting a pic of those before,they are a strange looking truck and the only set ive ever seen,makes you wonder what other gems are out there waiting to be discovered

you could always ask

shame about the yellow one but that set up will look great!

i bet they didnt make many as the lathe work would have revealed loads of airbubbles and pinholes/ pockets like you can see in the pics,they probably had to throw away more than they made certainly one of the rarest "modified" trucks around

wow,how bizarre is that? i was just looking through my old pics and found the same advert and was thinking ive still never seen a set of those and hey presto you post a pic of some! i wonder how much extra they charged for the priviledge of having otherwise standard pro's lathed down? $800 and no ...

i dont have any 8" versions any more to compare with but the mk1 8" certainly looks like they used the standard baseplates from the other trucks,then moved to fixed kingpin later on and then the 9" ones had 2 diff baseplates,good luck with your search
